hello spook im bringing thrifty too to toukley on the 4th dec for its first run ,i was going down to windsor but dave pagano says the river is too mess and i cant get there mid week a the car needs new tyres .hope to see every one there and get in some solo runs to sort out the beast

The engine is in and I have to plumb it and do the electrics. Even if it were to be ready the APBA would be highly unlikely to let me run it.

looking good with all this rain you might need it soon i was going to taree at easter but the cost was way more than i had and the apba wants a provisional licence for new hydro drivers.so the next outing might be the sackville run in may for the bridge race .

So the APBA wont let you run on a day licence??? How many of our race days have you done???

ive done two topend sprints two bridge to bridge races ive raced at raymond terrace once and done two fred willians reunions that taree power boat club under apba rules and day licence. but to do the easter weekend the were no day licences .im trying to get thrifty link hardware onboard until then its not possible to fork out what they want for full or half year when there is only one wage . so toukley and forster will see the hydro and possibly this years bridge run from sackville .depending on what the apba will allow me to run.there has been no firm decision whether the classic vintage parade will be charged entry and licence fees

hello again bob just put a bigger tank in thrifty 45lt moved the seat forward all looks good for the end of may i took the crakerbox out for a run at lemontree passage and apart from a minor leak in the raw water pump shes ready to run as well .susan has joined the army reserve so she busy all may .im trying to get volunteers/helpers .if you cannot run the spook and want to go in the run with the other classics id let you drive the red dwarf.if we can get both down there. im still waiting on replies to emails about the entry /briefing etc and get people to drive trailers back to windsor
